About Me
Let me start by saying:
Welcome and thank you for being here!
I don't know how you found me but I believe that it was meant to be. We all do things for a reason consciously or unconsciously, and it led you here.
My mission is to brighten your day, enlighten your spirit and enrich your mind with what the world has to offer. I wish for my experiences to guide you and help you on your travels and your journey through life.
So who am I?
For those who don't know me, I'm Anne, a Global Nomad, Life Coach and Student Of Life, with a very straight forward and blunt personality.
I'm an introvert but love getting to know people. Many times I don't know where to start but I somehow always manage to get it done.
I'm that one person who stands out everywhere I go, not because of my bubbly personality but because I have grown quite properly since a very young age. Far from average in many type of ways, but what's average nowadays anyway.
Born and raised in Magdeburg, Germany...a nice city with lots of history, but quite boring if you're like me longing to see the world.
I grew up quite normal with loving parents and amazing siblings.
Thinking back, of course we always had something to complain about, but now I know we had everything we needed and all the fuss was mostly unneccessary.
We went on vacation at least once or twice a year, and on school trips, be it somewhere in good old Germany or abroad in another European country.
My parents always allowed us to see something from the world and learn. I grew up thinking that there is only one way to live, you go to school, have good grades, go to university or college and get a job, get an apartment, someday even a house, kids, pets and work until you retire after around 50 years, then live off your retirement until you pass away.
WHAT A LIFE...so unique. 😉
I've always had the urge to travel...explore and get to know the world with all it has to offer but of course as a teenager your options are very limited. Starting my work life, I decided to become a nurse, because my parents told me I gotta do something that is safe and pays my bills, where I'll never be unemployed or have a hard time finding a new position.
Being a nurse is a great job, it comes with a lot responsibility and you experience things the average person wouldn't want to see or deal with. Death was somewhat always by my side and it made me think a lot about life.
What I noticed is that people, at the end of their lives, don't really regret the things they did, even if they made mistakes and failed, but more so all the things they didn't do. I lost count on how many times I heard "I wish I would have done...; I wish I would be young again to...; Now I'm too old to..." Regretting and wishful thinking about how life could have been differently and blaming it on circumstances, lack of opportunity, lack of luck, lack of money without being aware that it's really just YOU to hold responsible for the things you missed out on. It's a matter of decisions we make. Yes, we can't control everything that happens to us or through us BUT we can control how we react to it and that makes all the difference. Change starts with me, with you, with us...only then we can change life itself. There is not just ONE written path for us, there are multiple ones and you decide which one you go and when to change it, if it's not working.

We always think we have so little time...but no matter how old we are, there is always room for change. It might get harder over time and you gotta be up for the challenge, but think about all the positive that comes with it. Taking into account not just the worse case scenario but equally the best case scenario, and that's always worth working on.
So hearing those excuses and the regretting really made me go like, "yeah, that's definitely not how I wanna feel when my life comes to an end". So, I decided to be open for whatever comes my way and I made a drastic change.
After almost 10 years of working as a nurse I transitioned, gave up my job, my home, my environment. 😅
Well, of course it wasn't that easy, it took multiple smaller steps which made the big move, but in a nutshell, that's what happened.
I got to know some people who showed me how to live a different type of life. I learned to invest my money and work remotely.
Now I'm always on the go, always seeking opportunity, afraid to get stuck. Yes I said it...AFRAID, it scares me. I know how it feels to run in circles, the sheer never ending rat race.
There are a lot of people, and I even wanna say probably 95%, who just like to settle for this normal life. Which is absolutely fine...it's easier even if it seems hard at times but it's the easier and safer option.
But if you're like me and seek opportunity and growth rather than security and comfort then this blog will not just be a guide for your future journeys around the wold but also a guide for your very personal journey in finding your life's purpose.

I must add that I always invest in my education, in fact it's what I spend most of my money on, it's my number one priority. Self-education is essential if you wanna grow and develop into the best version of yourself. It's a never ending story.
Traveling the world is self-education, because you always learn and expand your horizon.

This is my very first attempt of my travel blog. I'm learning while doing it, so please bear with me, I promise I'll make it worth your while.
